Located in both Illinois and Iowa, the central recycling facilities accept concrete product at no charge. Concrete with rebar and mesh are acceptable since Miller Materials uses highly advanced screening equipment. Top of the line magnetic equipment is used to ensure rebar is removed from the final product.
Homeowners and businesses can deliver material to either the Iowa or Illinois facility. No drop off appointment is necessary, Monday through Friday. Residential pick up service is not available.
Recycled materials meet both state and local gradation (size) requirements for base under paving, backfill material for underground utilities, drainage base and parking lots.
Miller Materials is proud to be a member of the Construction & Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA) and is an approved aggregate supplier for both the Illinois and Iowa Departments of Transportation.
RECYCLED CA6
CLEAN GRADE.
Our clean CA-6 recycled concrete is a 1-1/4” down material made from nearly 100% crushed concrete with little to no dirt. It compacts well and provides a durable, clean-looking base, making it an excellent choice for driveways and high-visibility projects.

Common uses includes residential driveways, private roads, base under concrete or asphalt. This is perfect for an area requiring a cleaner finished appearance.
RECYCLED CA6
STANDARD GRADE
Our standard CA-6 recycled concrete is a 1-1/4” down material that may include some dirt and mixed aggregate. It compacts tightly and offers a reliable, cost-effective base for a wide range of construction and site work applications.

Commercial applications include parking lots, aggregate base under concrete, trench bedding, trench backfill, and general base and fill applications.
GROUND ASPHALT FOR DRIVES AND LOTS.
1-1/4” Down Recycled Asphalt Millings
Miller Materials creates asphalt millings by recycling only asphalt for this stable product. Used for parking lots and driveways, millings compact well.
Recycled asphalt contains some binder that enhances this product's ability to compact.

1” Clean
The gravel is made for applications that require effective drainage. Used around pipe, above tile, around foundations and under paving that require drainage, the product is free of fines, but is not washed.
This product is utilized for drainage rather than compaction due to the lack of compatible fines.
BUILT FOR DRAINAGE & STABILITY
2” Clean
This larger stone is commonly used for applications that require increased stability and drainage. Ideal for construction entrances, equipment access areas, erosion control, and heavy-duty drainage where larger aggregate is needed. The material is free of fines, allowing for excellent water flow, but is not washed.
This product is intended for structural support and drainage rather than compaction due to the absence of fines.
